I don't really remember but Shari says we were getting ready for ou last deputation tour that we would go on as a family and I was finishing my freshman year of high school.

Finishing up painting in the kitchen. Cavid just realized that I was taking his picture and was trying to get away, but I got him anyway.
Lots of people have come to help us with this project and we are so thankful. It would have been overwelming without them.
The downstairs is finally painted and is waiting to be re-carpeted.

Valentine Dinner

I'm just getting around to posting pictures of the Valentine Dinner that our youth group hosted for our church. We had it last Saterday and everything turned out really nice!

Bro. Tucker was our special speaker.
Cheryl & Caslyn made one of these cakes for each person that came. They did a good job on them.

Cheryl's birthday was the same day so we surprised her with a cake. What made it really great was that she was in a funny mood and had just done her hair up this way. She was really embarrased when we surprised her and then took pictures!

Is Huckabee a Liberal?

We have been great supporters of Mike Huckabee since he was only at 2% in the polls. I like his debating ability and straight answers when other candidates try to dodge the questions. I agree with his stands on the issues.
Lately I have heard so much talk of how Mike Huckabee is a liberal. I have even heard that Rush Limbaugh stated that the Republican party is going to be destroyed if Huckabee or McCain get the nomination. McCain is a terrible candidate and this I know.
However I have not been able to find out why Huckabee is being called a liberal. If anyone out there can explain to me why Huckabee is such a liberal and why McCain, Romney, or Paul are better candidates, I would greatly appreciate an explanation. I am tired of people labeling him a liberal. I want real examples to prove that he is liberal and real reasons why others are more conservative.

This girl really knows how to eat. She was up watching me cut up tomatoes & helped herself to almost a whole tomato. That was besides a bunch of Trix cereal.

March for Life 2008

We were able to take some of our church youth to the March for Life in Washington DC this year. We shared the experience with Penn View's civics class. We rode in the Penn View coach to the event. It was a great experience for our youth. There were thousands of people there to protest abortion. We heard many speakers including Ron Paul, Sam Brownback, and the brother of Terri Schiavo. This is a great opportunity to see that the pro-life movement is strong and passionate about defending life. It was very empowering to be there!!!

The march was packed with pro-lifers. Many people in the offices around the march were watching as the masses creeped by their windows. We never thought we were going to get to the end.

Bad luck or technologically illiterate?

Thank you to all of you who left comments on here. I guess I should explain why I have not posted. All of my friends and family could tell you that I am not the most technology oriented person in the world. For instance, I recently bought an mp3 player thinking that it couldn't be that hard to figure out. I tried and tried but for the life of me could not figure out how to download anything onto it, even with my Dad's help. The only thing that I could use it for was to listen to the radio, but it wasn't to long until that too stopped working, so there it sits in the closet untouched. We also bought a printer recently and me, trying to help Brent ( or just not wanting to wait on him) decided to install it and set it up. Well, I had the instructions and I followed them to a T, but somehow it wouldn't work. So the printer got shoved into the back room until just the other day when Brent decided that it had sat back there long enough and he put his had at trying to get it running. Right away, it worked. No reinstalling or anything.
So with that kind of history you can see why I was a little skeptical about trying to blog, after all if something went wrong I wouldn't know how to fix it. I finally decided that I needed to try. I set up my account and proceeded to completely make my blog look terrible trying to figure out how it all worked. Well, somewhere along to way I got out of my dashboard and when I tried getting back into it, you guessed it, I couldn't get into it. Finally with the help of my Mom figured out that I had to verify my email address first, but as much as I tried I was not getting the email for me to be able to verify it. So I gave up on it for a little while and last night much to my surprise they let me in, so hopefully that is the end of my blogging problems. So, I guess maybe I'm not jinxed after all.
